The late owner Dale Morton started Morton Moving & Storage in 1977, but long before that he learned the moving trade while traveling with his dad on moves. He learned firsthand what it meant to provide professional quality relocation services. His beliefs in “good business” , strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence lives on through his namesake and the company’s mission.
Edward Whalley IV continues to lead the commitment to moving excellence for residents of West Tennessee and beyond. As owner of the longest standing moving company in West Tennessee, Edward and his team bring over 100 years of combined experience not only in the industry but together at Morton Moving & Storage.
In addition, Edward has owned and operated Whalley Trailer and Container Rental for the last 20 years. Whalley Enterprises, Inc. provides all aspects of moving and storage to meet all your individual needs.
